Benissa, beautiful nature coastline and amazing coastal walks
The municipality of Benissa has a diverse landscape and is well worth while exploring. We enjoy the many Calas along the coast from Moraira to Calpe. There is also an incredible walkway along the coast from Cala Baladrar, which has a lovely Chrirnguito, to Calpe. Cala Advocat just a bit further past Baladrar has a nice restaurant called La Paillotte set in lovely gardens with a pool for people that stay in one of their apartments. There is also a Chiringuito next to the sea where you will find quality food and drinks with amazing views. La Fustera has another lovely restaurant/ beach bar and Les Bassetes which is another beautiful cove have amazing restaurants including the Oceana restaurant, which boast quality food and incredible views from the terrace, usually accompanied with some live music or event. Benissa has so much to choose from. Back in the Old Town, we love the Market and the prices tend to be less than on the coast. The selection of fruit & vegetables is fantastic. There are also a couple of special tapas bars and shops, so worth while exploring. In January they have the medieval fair which is very interesting with all the artisan crafts.
